Furthering the rich history of downtown Sharon, this former Odd Fellows Lodge stands where heritage meets modern living. Built in 1922 and once a hub for elections, dances, and community life, the building was rescued in 2013 and reinvented—thanks to Jim Landino’s vision and Jen Krezeczowski’s art-driven design—into a warm, beautifully crafted single-family home.
Acquisition & gut rehab:
Feb–Mar 2013: Jim acquired the property and began a complete interior gut to stabilize and rebuild from the shell up.
Structural & systems work:
Full roof reconstruction and envelope repair
New mechanicals (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and life-safety upgrades
Reinforced framing and corrected deteriorated elements
Design approach:
Keep the front staircase as a tangible link to lodge history
Introduce light-filled, open living with modern materials and clean lines
Layer in artist-led details—color, texture, and custom finishes that honor the building’s civic past without replicating it
“We salvaged almost nothing from the building,” Jim noted—by necessity, the project became a creative rebuild that saved the address, presence, and story.

Civic & cultural roles: Basement served for public elections; in the 1970s–80s it hosted dance hall and ballet programming.
Decline: By 2013 the structure was severely compromised—roof gone, interior failing, little left to safely preserve beyond the prominent front staircase.
