The skies are looking clear in the City of Sharon… but that’s probably because of Jim and Amy Schnieder’s new venture: Sharon City Eyeworks. The new state-of-the-art optical studio now offers eye exam services, in addition to the existing “Eyes of Faith Optical” eyewear boutique.

Amy and Jim Schneider’s company has grown from a “crazy, middle-of-the-night idea,” to an industry leader. Their faith-fused enterprise, headquartered in the Applegate building in Downtown Sharon, has earned plenty of attention for beautiful eyewear products and stellar customer service. But a passion for giving has resulted in some 120,000 pairs of glasses being delivered to people in need around the world. In recent years EOF even teamed up with radio personality Delilah to fund homes for widows and orphans in Ghana—all from Sharon, PA.

But it’s their new division, Sharon City Eyeworks, that’s getting a closeup right now with leading-edge in-person and virtual technology that’s changing the eye-care experience.
